Our sharps disposal bins are designed for the safe and effective disposal of contaminated sharps requiring incineration, providing protection for the user and prevention from sharps injuries, contamination and the spreading of diseases.
SHARPSGUARD® orange is a comprehensive range of containers for the disposal of sharps, excluding those contaminated with medicinal products and their residues.
The container labels indicate that disposal should be by incineration or other authorised process and is designed for the consignment of waste categorised by the following EWC (European Waste Catalogue) codes: 18 01 01, 18 01 03, 18 02 01, 18 02 02.
To ensure the containers are safe and simple to use the opaque doors clearly show when the door is in the temporary or fully closed position.
The SHARPSGUARD® orange range is manufactured to the most stringent quality and safety standards: BS EN ISO 23907, UN3291, AFNOR NFX 30-500 and ISO 9002.
